  1. Jean-Paul Sartre was a famous writer on philosophy. He believed that the individual was responsible for his or her own actions. He also believed any attempt to genralize people, like dictatorships do, are doomed to fail. His third point is that people cannot appeal to morality and ethics. For example, in his idea of the world, if someone was robbing you, you couldn’t appeal to their morals, so they would still rob you. Many college students embraced his ideas and made him a cult figure. He died in 1980. He was 84.

  2. Jean Paul Sartre was born on June 21st 1905. He was a very famous writer on religion, philosophy, and languages. He was a strong believer in individual freedom. Individual freedom is the belief in the primary importance of the individual and the virtues of self-reliance and personal independence. He also believed that people shouldn’t base their thoughts on morality. I disagree with that because if people didn’t have morals the amount of crime and murder would be 3 times what it is today. He also believed that people should take responsibility for their own actions.
